Modifying Werewolves

Post » Sun Jun 17, 2012 11:02 pm

I've managed to modify damage values and whatnot, the problem I'm having currently is trying to get the ability to regenerate health in werewolf form, both in and out of combat. I've changed the damage health regen to Fortify Health regen under the werewolf abilities, but it's not doing anything in game. Can someone please help me out with this? Thanks

under the races tab in the ck, you'll find the werewolfbeastrace file. double click it. it'll bring up a list of things, like effect files linked to it, what npcs do around it, base health, carrying capacit etc.

there will be some type columns. one of them says health regen. it's currently set to 0.000000. change it to whatever value you want.

I'm sorry, but I have one more question lol. How do I turn it into a toggle power?

1) get script dragon, the compatible 1.4 version.

2) get this: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=2041

Also, there's already a mod out that does exactly what you just did :P

Though it's always good to learn by doing things yourself for personal projects ;)

Yeah lol. Planning on trying to rework the magicka system somehow. Figured buffing the Werewolf would be a good place as anywhere to start learning the ropes. :D

Hell, people already made rebalances of the werewolf prior to the Creation kIt. Right now I'm working on tying transformations to the moon, which is quickly becoming immensely complicated.

Seriously? If you can pull that off, that would be awesome!!

I think it's ashame that this cannot be done natively in the CK ; ;.

it might, but a script editor would likely be needed anyway to allow the toggle to be bound to a keyboard button. Besides, it's pretty straightforward, and was made before the ck, and works beautifully.
