Mods for Consoles: Y u no come?!

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 9:34 am

So, in an interview with Todd Howard a while back it was reported that mods for consoles were "definitely something we (Bethesda) would look into doing". (Or something to that extent.)

Anywho, my question is about if they just said that to interest console gamers, or is there actual talks etc going on? Sigh... I'll be doomed to die a mod-less fool.

Oh yeah, whatever happened to beast/mer race children? Do they just congeal in a gutter or something? To put it simply, "where do orc/argonian/khajiit/elves babies come from?"

its Micreosoft and Sony are worried about, viruses, hacks, broken save games, and other things. For example, an Xbox can't handle mods with higher rez textures than vanilla. Some PC mods simply have hi rez textures for their mod, not just the texture packs themselves.

there talking, that about it. We'll see about it next gen

I doubt Microsoft and Sony will allow it for current gen, as for future gen, I still doubt it.

This issue needs to be taken up with Microsoft and Sony. They are the ones that decide if it is going to happen or not, not Bethesda.
