So I'm off to Whiterun to go sell some wares when I run into some bandits. The bandits are stationed up high in two makeshift towers with a man-made bridge in between them. I'm only at level 18 and always in sneak mode. I see the two bandits, one guarding one of the towers and the other is across the bridge in the other. I'm approaching unnoticed. Ready to rumble, I draw my dwarven bow and stick one of the bandits between the eyes. Boom, she comes hurdling down 40 feet and was dead before she hit the ground.

The other bandit, unfortunately (for her) took notice. Knotching another arrow I get ready to shoot. But my enemy has other plans as this bandit just decides to walk right off her tower killing herself without my needing to do anything.

I quickly fleece her body of anything worth keeping and head back to what I was doing with nobody the wiser. I don't know why but watching this happen in realtime just made me chuckle.

Hm, maybe the bandit noticed and said to herself, "Hey, why let her kill me when I can do it myself!", thus causing the events possibly?

Sounds like you were jest a little bit West of Falkreath. My favorite funny moment was at the bandit camp near the base of the mountains West of Falkreath; I was sneaking toward the camp under the cover of dark with my bow equipped when I noticed a bandit on the watchtower. I nailed a guy walking past the base of the watchtower, which alerted the guy up on top, who promptly released boulders via lever. I dropped the lever-guy just as the rocks piled on another bandit that cam to investigate the first death, killing him instantly. Two more came at me, but I arrowed one in the face, making him sort of face/side plant downhill while I paralyzed the last alerted bandit, who I promptly beat to death with my melee bow attack.

I cleaned out the rest of the camp with arrows and by slashing one's throat. Probably the best fight of my Skyrim life. Seemed choreographed it was so awesome
