Money making guide

Hello everyone i got some tip of how you can earn money fast and easy!

1st: Join the thieves guild and peform reapeatble quests known as "jobs". Some of these jobs can be pretty challenged if not skilled in the arts of stealth. Therefore i would recommend to take "The burglary job" from Vex and "the numbers job" from Delvin. On "the burglary job" you are supposed to steal an item from a house, this is easy during daytime because most pepole are at work. On the numbers job you are supposed to "edit" some notes in a ledger book at a random bussniess. This is also easy, but make sure that the shopkeeper is out of sight or he will call the guards. The reward for each jobb is 100-500 gold depending on level. There is also a quest called "No Stone Unturned" ( link here ---> http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/No_Stone_Unturned here you are going to find al the 24 stones of barenziah. I will not go on details on this so please check the link. The reward for this quest is a permanent perk called "Prowler′s Profit" Its increase the chance of finding jewels such as diamonds, rubys, emeralds, etc (soul gems not including) in containers. I recommend to finish this quest early so you can gather a lot of gems.

2nd: Once The Dark Brotherhood questline is completed, you will recieve a quest called "The Dark Brotherhood Forever" This is also a repeatble quest wehere you are going to kill a random target. Oh and don′t worry these target spawns at the start of the quest, so you will not go out and kill pepole who owns stores etc. The reward for every contract is a leveled amount of gold up to 1200 gold.

3rd:This place is one of my favorite underground cave. Blackreach is ancient dwemer ruin in a huge underground cave filled with giant glowing mushrooms. The celing of the gave glows with blue lights and massive glowing vines hang down. It′s like Pandora, the planet from Avatar! For more info on Blackreach see this link ----> http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Blackreach. Geode Veins are unique only in Blackreach and has a blue glowing appearence. When mining these you can recieve soul gems (from petty to black) and therefore it′s a very good source for money making, also for you who playing as mages these is a good source. Although this is depending on your level. At level 5 you will most get petty soul gems. At 50+ you will start to recieve black soul gems.

4th: This is for hardworkers! Get your smithing up to at least level 90 and go for the daedric smithing perk. Daedric armor is the best armor in the game (even better than dragon armor) and therefore it has a high value. You are going to need ebony ignots and daedra hearts. See this link for more info ---> http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Daedric_armor. Also improve and enchant it for a higher value!!

I will come with more ways to earn money in the future, also if you have any comments or questions please share them.

A moneymaking scheme I use on mage characters at the start of the game:

- Get a follower, travel by carriage to Markath and go to Left Hand Mine just outside it. Get the quest to liberate Kolskeggr mine and do so. Mine all the gold veins.
- Go to Halted Steam Camp and clear it, get the Transmute tome. Mine all the iron ore there, and clear out all other iron mines you can find.
- Transmute all the iron ore to gold ore and sell it at full price to the guy at Kolskeggr mine.

Bit tedious on the transmute part, but you'll get tons of money very early.

Use-full but requires a lot of work, Here is what I do:
- You will need the banish enchantment
- Make some iron daggers
- You will need filled soul gems, soul gems can be mined in Blackreach
- Enchant the daggers with the banish enchantment, and sell them
- Now you will level up your enchanting, smithing and get profit from it

Assuming you want a high alchemy skill, grinding out potions to raise you alchemy skill is a fine way to make money. With a good recipe guide (like the one in my sig) you can easily make a profit with almost any ingredients you buy, and stuff you find as loot / harvest is free money.
Some especially profitable (and fairly common) ingredients are bears's claws, blue mountain flower, blue butterfly wing, giant's toe, hanging moss, and scaly photilia.

Giant's Toe + Wheat + X fortify/restore health ingredient = a potion worth about 1300 gold, base.

Enchanting is the key to making the most money the fastest. Yes, you can make money at alchemy and smithing, but to get them into high-gear ASAP, you need enchanting. Disenchanting one piece of fortify alchemy and one piece of fortify smithing gear paves the way to make multiple items for each, thereby giving you the ability to make things well beyond your level of skill. And then of course you sell them for mucho $.

The other key to facilitating this is to do all the City Influence jobs for the TG so that no matter what city you live in, you have someone who can buy 4K worth of stuff off of you every 48 hours.

I had a huge crafting day yesterday. I hand't made potions in a while and I had almost 100 ebony ingots laying around along with 8 daedra hearts. Then I went and ripped off everything from Calcelmo's museum that was useful. By the time the ordeal was all said and done I'd make over 40K in about two hours. Of course it took a long time to just have all that stuff laying around and Daedric Smithing isn't exactly the first perk in the Smithing tree.

But really, Dwarven Smithing plus Enchanting puts you on the road to $ early in the game.

Actually the best way to make money with Transmute is to get your hands on all the iron, silver, and gold ore you can then turn them into ingots. Then turn each of those ingots into two gold rings.

Your profit margin varies from turning each of those iron, silver, and gold ores into rings but it is ALWAYS a profit. You can sell them to general store vendors, court mages, and jewellers. And if you have spare petty gems you can toss and enchantment or two on them to really jack up your profit.
