Monster rights! Equality in Skyrim!

Monster rights manifesto!!!

This serious problem (one of many) came to my attention by abused deadra lord who they where constantly summoning to fight those puny humans, he just couldnt take it anymore, after he told this tale he killed himself but we will always remember him for his courage to report this to our PMS (People for Monsters in Skyrim) organization. Mages just willy nilly summon those poor creatures, deadra and whatnot, what would you think if just suddenly appeared in the middle of battle and had to fight for your life. It is abuse of their rights, pure enslavment!!!! Other example are those poor draugr in their tombs, they are ancient nord warriors and you should be killed and eaten for disturbing them, every nord player should be punished for desecrating and pilaging their resting place, they are your ancestors you should be ashamed of yourselves. And what about those rare creatures like wisp mother and spriggans that are endangered species, you cant just come into their habitat and kill them for their rare ingredients, we have to restore their numbers before they become extinct. These are just a couple of examples to show how bad the abuse is against those precious cratures that only want to live as is in their nature and our MONSTROUS crimes against them. Help me fight for their rights!!! EQUALITY IN SKYRIM FOR ALL!!! Join PMS!!!

R.I.P. Deadra lord no.1234, we will always remember you!!

I think we should let 30% of them live, that can maintain a stable population. Perhaps a captive breeding program with supervised release into the wild after adolescence.

You have no idea how hard it is to be a monster activist in skyrim, it takes dedicated work to not kill anything, breeding is just an excuse to kill the other 70%.

I am a Ranger.

I walked into a forest, with no weapon drawn, and was watching an Elk eat before I turned to my left and saw some sort of... shrine, that had a bloody human body on it.

Being a person of goodly quality I went to investigate the grizzly sight. The sound of insects grew loud as I approached. I believed it to be the flies buzzing about the poor victim.

Out of no where a Spriggen attacked me, without provocation, as I still had no weapon in hand.

I feel, as a goodly Ranger, that I was wronged. Where are my rights?

You cant blame them for their nature and no one forbids you to run away.

Spriggens are not dumb creatures.

And Spriggens are close to nature, just as Rangers are, a Spriggen should be able to sense this.

As a Ranger, the woods are my home, why must I run from my home? I run from no bears, no saber cats, why should Spriggen be afforded special treatment?

So no bears and saber cats attack because you are a ranger, well just use the tricks you use on them on spriggen, problem solved and if the spriggen kills you, well you are reuniting with nature in the most intimate way and you should be happy.

So they can defend themselves and their territory but I can't? What if I can't run away (overencumbered, just ate a horse, whatever) or am just slow? And besides, if they don't put up a fence or at least a friggin sign, how am I supposed to know that particular piece of geography is currently occupied?

No, good sir/madam, I think that PMS is itself the one promoting racism (or would that be "monstrism"?) and you should be ashamed of yourself.*

Spriggens are not animals. I would not tame a Spriggen in the same way I would not try to tame a Kat or a Dark Elf.

As lon as it is consensual PMS doesnt mind, and illusion spells exsist exactly for that reason, calm and run away, problem solved.

They say in every human (or elf...) lies a beast perhaps if you were a better ranger you would know how to calm it.

Me thinks you're getting too hysterical about this now.
Spriggans are not monsters, they are the guardians of Kyne and the spirits of Nature.
I also want to point out that Daedra are not of this world and would have no qualms about destroying it.
They are not in this world, they are manifesting themself. You can never truly kill a Daedra.

It's just as bad as people who say that experiments on animals are just as bad as experiments on humans.

Well, she spins for me without complaining, so we'll assume she consents.

And I already said running may not be an option. So what am I to do, have tea and crumpets with the calmed spriggan? Hmm, I wonder if calm spriggans like to spin?

That is why I said equality for all and it seems people(Imperial, Stormcloak, Thalmor...) do the destroying well on their own without any interference from deadra.

Well they are the spirits of nature and nature is fertile as is she cruel so take your chances and see.

I think it's a mistake to lump daedra into the same category as sabre cats and trolls. I direct you to the following quote from http://www.imperial-library.info/content/spirit-daedra

HOW WE THINK ABOUT MAN

Perhaps you find Scamps comic, and Vermai brutish.

How then do you imagine we view you humans?

You are the Prey, and we are the Huntsmen.

The Scamps are the Hounds, and the Vermai the Beaters.

Your flesh is sweet, and the chase is diverting.

As you may sometimes praise the fox or hare, admiring its cunning and speed, and lamenting as the hounds tear its flesh, so do we sometimes admire our prey, and secretly applaud when it cheats our snares or eludes pursuit.

But, like all worldly things, you will in time wear, and be used up. You age, grow ugly, weak, and foolish. You are always lost, late or soon.

Sometimes the prey turns upon us and bites. It is a small thing. When wounded or weary, we fly away to restore. Sometimes a precious thing is lost, but that risk makes the chase all the sweeter.

In effect, the daedra view US as monsters, and they don't give any thought to our well-being.

Also,

Sure, laugh now. But wait until you find out that People for Monsters in Skyrim ...

is a cook book.

is [NUMINIT] funny.
