More than 1 ring please

Post » Mon Jun 25, 2012 9:27 am

I just read something like this on another post but why can't we even wear 2 rings. We could on oblivion and even then we have 8 fingers we should be able to wear more than 1. I understand 8 enchanted rings would be completely ridiculous, also ridiculously awesome but we can't do it. Im just asking for at least one more. And if someone could answer why is it just 1?

Because enchanting is OP already, having another ring would be adding to that I suppose.

I don't see why we can't have multiple rings though, if you want to be OP, that's your business. (Not you specifically, you know what I mean.)

Its a single player game so being OP shouldn't be a problem and I bet it would just get a few more people to try the master difficulty level. You should be able to have 2

Yeah, it's like perk respec. We should have the ability to use them, but not be required to.

If ring enchantments were halved in power, I could dig having two rings.

There's the potential to make a god-like character easily with an extra ring slot, but seeing as the alchemy stacking is still a thing It's a moot point.

I'd like it, just to be able to give my guy some more capabilities in stealth or magic, seeing as at level 72 I have few perk points left to spend.

Since my armor is a special set that's pre-enchanted, I only have a necklace and a ring to work with. They work well enough I suppose, but it would be nice to have a second ring.

I agree, I understand why we can't have rings on each finger. But at least give us one for each index finger.

See how your argument can quickly be changed to support something different. You admited yourself that eight rings is ridiculous. Just because its single player DOESN'T mean they should allow every OP thing a player asks for. By your logic perk limits should be optional and players should have the choice to learn every perk.

That would be a good trade off actually. I could dig that too.

As someone said above, enchanting is already OP. If it's already OP, why not add another slot? You can already become overpowered with out that extra slot. I don't get why some people think more options is a bad thing.

I will use archery for example. It would be over-powered because of the way enchanting works in Skyrim. As of right now my daedric bow is sitting pretty at 183 damage with my enchanted armor that does bonuses to my archery. (My Ancient Shrouded Cowl,my necklace and my ring.My ring does 25% bonus, my Ancient Shrouded Cowl that does 35% bonus, and my necklace does 16% bonus). So if somebody had 25% on both rings, a necklace, etc etc, it would be ungodly and a daedric bow would sit at 228 for me if I'm correct. It'd be unfair. I play on master and I still one-shot most my enemies. i'm sure BS had the ability to have two rings at a time before they released the game and said "Oh [censored], this is WAY to OP." I also have 5/5 in the first thing in the archery perk tree by the way. I may be wrong (I probably am) but anyways you get the point, it would be op.

If the issue was that it would make you OP then a simple solution would be to remove enchanting body armor and allow you to have a second ring and you can enchant that.
