Most awesome city questline?

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 6:21 am

Hey guys,

I just finished Windhelm's Stormcloaks questline and became a Thane...
I did Whiterun already too... Thane over there too...
The Stormcloaks questline was a bit booring, and whiterun was ok...
I'm just wondering which city questline is the best?
After 200 hours i'm gonna start finishing up but don't wanna miss anything...
Have a good one guys... And a good new year...

Try Makarath (Can't spell) and enter the city gates. You'll witness an event and the quest that follows that is really fun

Think http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Riften has most Quests to offer.

dawn star has a fun daedric quest that doesn't even make you feel like you've been used.

I enjoyed the first half. The part in the cave, the second half was frustrating.

Everybody raves about that questline.

Forsworn Conspiracy I liked. Deeper storytelling than we usually get from Bethesda, a couple of separate pathways (something that's also become rare from Bethesda), and good interplay between the player and the two involved factions.

Escape From Cidhna Mine, not so much. From being railroaded into the mine to the general weakness of the option to kill Madanach rather than working for him to the way your legal status is just swept under the rug at the end, I've found that part of the questline poorly developed and frustrating. And it's buggy as all hell.

The villiagers with the pitch forks wanting you to lead them to the master vampire cracked me up. Won't give away anymore of it though....

I had the fortune to stumble across the Windhelm serial killer quests right as I was in Windhelm to kill the Shatter-Sheild girl for the Dark Brotherhood. In my role play I was able to pin her murder on the other killer and them bring him to justice for both murders (his and mine).

Awesome!

Gah. I just fast traveled to the lair and they didn't follow. Did they do anything else? You can use spoiler tags if you want, since I'm probably not doing that quest again...
