"My cousin's out fighting dragons and what do I get? Guard duty." - guard 2 metres away from an elder dragon in the centre of Whiterun, surrounded by 4 dead fellow guards.
So, in short, if you hear some NPC say something that sounds like it's either sarcastic or a very stupid NPC, post it. if this idea's not interesting then the thread'll be submerged soon enough.

A side to this one...I got sick of hearing this one over and over so I pulled out my sword and carved him up. When the guards tried to arrest me, one of my options was. "I am thane to the yarl of Whiterun and I demand you release me immedaitely" ...........and it works. They say ok but don't let it happen again.

Ah, and then of course the "Oh, guess I was just hearing things" from various bandits when their fellow bandits are lying dead at their feet, but they can't spot me.... I LOVE having sky-high archery + sneaking <3

Do all the House Carls have the "I am sworn to carry your burdens" statement? Jordis the Sword Maiden says the same thing, but with a different intonation than Lydia so that she doesn't sound weary or sarcastic, just a matter of fact statement.

Lolly gagging means to loiter aimlessly. Guess they have tough loitering laws in Skyrim :shrug:
