Motor Runner's Helmate : Fallout: New Vegas

I collected the bounty but I still can't drop it,
and its taking up 2 precious pounds of weight.
And im on a 360 so no commands.
Anyway to drop it?

I can't remember that quest completely... Is the helmet marked as a quest item when you try to drop it?

yes it is so we can't drop or sell it

Yeah I am having that problem too, the only way to fix it is to mod you FO NV save with a save editer on a computer

if its a quest item it don't weight anything, remove everything from your inventory and you'll see

well it does on mine after removing every thing it still say's it's there have using 2 pounds of my weight so i guess that's a bug within a bug
