Mountain pieces placed in my own worldspace stop rendering i

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 12:35 am

Hey everyone,

I'm currently outlining my land. I have my worldspace and all my hills and mountains shaped into the land, and I'm using the Mountain tileset to add my peaks, ridges, cliffs, etc. However, whenever I pan far enough away in the CK from a placed piece of mountain trim or cliff, when I pan back to that area, it's no longer rendered. It's invisible, though still selectable, until I reload the area by hitting F5. This isn't a major issue, but it's annoying because I frequently have to re-render the view to see what my land looks like.

Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, I'll report it to the bug thread.

Thanks,
Alexander J. Velicky

Yes, it happens to me all the time. It's not just mountain peices, it's any model. I've had it happen with temples, rubble, bridges etc etc. Sometimes F5 won't bring the peices back into view either, you have to load a different cell and then reload the cell. I've been able to greatly reduce the instances of this happening by Unchecking "allow render window cell loads" in the render window>preferences>properties>movement.
