Mouse going way off screen?

Post » Thu Dec 01, 2011 6:11 am

Just got a new computer, with Windows 7 on it. I'm used to my mouse being able to go off to the right side of the screen and disappear a little bit, but now it will go as far as my mouse goes (seemingly). Left side walls the pointer off. It's a small problem, I know, but it just feels weird to me. Is there some way to calibrate it or change the properties of the boundaries? Thanks!

They both stop at the same point: the pixel in the upper left that you click with.

The rest of the cursor is just an image anyways, it doesn't have real boundaries.

Only it doesn't. That's why I made this thread. The very point of the cursor goes off the screen.

Do you have a second desktop or monitor? It might be crossing over into a desktop you can't see.

No I don't, but that gives me and idea of what the problem might be...

Yep, had the primary monitor plug going into the computer and the "second monitor" cord (dunno the word for it) going into the computer from the same monitor. :celebration: Thanks.

Go ahead and lock the thread, mods.
