Movement-Bug since beta-patch

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 2:42 pm

Since I've installed the new 1.5 beta patch, I have experienced a weird bug, where my char keeps walking a certain distance after releasing the w-key (move forward). The amount of additional steps seems to depend on the amount of steps done while the movement-key was pressed, at one point my char did 10 extra steps.
This problem doesn't appear in the first ~15 minutes, but then it starts slowly and keeps getting worse. This is why I think it could be some kind of performance issue.

I have this ever since the first version of Skyrim: I release my forward movement key (in my case the up arrow key) but I just keep on moving forward. This can be for like 5 meters or 50 meters and then suddenly forward movement stops.
And no, there are no keys hanging on my keyboard ;)
This all happens at random: can happen 3 times per hour but can also not happen for a few days.

Np, I can take a hit or two. I wish the solution would be that easy, though. It only appeared recently. I didn't do anything special with my pc, nothing to influence it's performance in particular. But I stopped playing Skyrim a while back and began to play after watching the video with the new kill cams.
I'm trying to clean my hard drive and some other stuff right now, hoping it may help. Keybord repeat rate also is unchanged, and it wouldn't change itself mid-game would it? In another forum someone told me, he had the same problem with Fallout 3 so I guess it's somehow connected to the game engine.
