1) Anything deep, artistic, and complex is good with me.

2) Robot Monster. That's the movie that taught me that space gorillas require an atmosphere composed of 79% nitrogen, 20% oxygen, and 50% bubbles.

3) The Godfather. Don't ask me about my business, Kay.

4) The Hobbit. Unlike most Americans, I'm excited that it's being shot at such a high framerate for us (48 fps, woohoo!)

My favourite movie changes from day to day, but right now I'm rewatching Rango and it's brilliant. Amazing CG, and a kids film that isn't patronising. Most anticipated movie is the Dark Knight Rises, can't wait.

1) - If I had to pick two then I'd say science fiction and comedy, but I honestly don't really care as long as the movie is good.

2) - Pay it Forward - I was forced to watch this 'film' three times in highschool, it was bile inducing in its misunderstanding of basic human nature.
Alexander - I stopped this movie about halfway through, ejected it from the DVD player and took back to the movie store at 9 PM on the day I rented it. Whenever I look at the shelf that it stands on my eyes automatically skip over it, I swear that this is not an exaggeration. Though I seem to have blocked what was so bad about it from my memory.

3) - The Return of the King, Lucky Number Slevin

4) - The Avengers, The Hobbit

Favorite Genre: probably Sci Fi
Worst Movies: Any number of the nonstop remakes/sequels being made these days.
Favorite Movie: probably Back to the Future. can't count the amount of times I've watched it.
Most Anticipated Movie: TBH, I can't think of one since Hollywood can't seem to come up with any interesting or original ideas anymore...although, Clint Eastwood rarely disappoints.

Not too into movies but I think some of my favorites (if I had to pick) would be Donnie Darko, 28 Days Later, and Falling Down.

I'm really anticipating Dark Knight Rises and Prometheus though.

1) Action mostly, and comedies.

2) Eragon (the book was great, the movie was a huge letdown), 2-Headed Shark Attack (it was one of those movies that are so bad that they are funny)

3) LOTR, Lords Of Dogtown, Grind, Jarhead, The Rum Diary

4) The Hobbit, The Avengers, Ironman 3 (one scene is being shot at my friends house, and the rest 3 hours from me in Wilmington)

Johnny Depp is my favorite actor

Favorite genres: Crime (film noir, gangster flicks, buddy cop, etc.) and science fiction.

Worst movies:
-Ghost Rider. There are just no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
-Wild Hogs. A cast that's well past their prime (Travolta, Allen) or never saw one (Lawrence). For some reason everythng about this movie annoys me. Marisa Tomei is still pretty.

Favorite movies: Blade Runner, Star Wars OT.

Most anticipated: Prometheus, Evangelion 3.0: You Can (Not) Redo.

1. I enjoy fantasy and horror, not monsters and slasher flicks, I like more of the horror of personality films like Psycho and Secret Window, or even Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, which I consider has some fantasy elements.

2. One movie I remember watching was called Dino Wolf or something like that. The acting was really bad and the action scenes were really cheesy. House of the Dead was pretty horrible from what I remember.

3. The Basketball Diaries and Secret Window.

4. I heard there is going to be a Ham on Rye movie, which was written by Charles Bukowski. I'm also looking forward to the Dark Knight Rises.

1) what are your favourite genres?
Sci-fi and Action.

2) what are the WORST movies you have ever watched and why?
The Blair Witch Project and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.

BWP, because nothing happens.

TofDE, because Brendan Fraser was like "when will this end?" through the movie. The actors were hating the movie, I was expecting anyone to turn and say "why did I sign up for this [censored]?"

I don't think it can go any worse than that for a movie.

3) what are your favourite movies?
Unfaithfully Yours. The Postman. Howard the Duck. Waterworld. Return of the Living Dead III. Kazaam. Thunderpants. Showgirls. Judge Dredd.

I like cheese.

On a more serious note: The Prestige, Contact, Alien and The Thing.

4) what are your most anticipated movies?
Hobbit and Prometheus.

1) what are your favourite genres?
Sci-Fi, Action/War

2) what are the WORST movies you have ever watched and why?
Battlefield Earth. If I have to explain, you haven't seen it. Even the book was better than the movie.
Howard the Duck. Same thing.

3) what are your favourite movies?
Das Boat (director's cut)
About 20-30 other films tie for 2nd

4) what are your most anticipated movies?
None at the moment. Don't keep up w/film releases much these days. Half the time I don't know a film exists until much later. If I see something that looks like "my thing" on Pay Per View cable, I'll watch it.

1) what are your favourite genres?
Good comedies, which unfortunately are a rare breed these days, most comedies are dreadful. Mostly fond of the stuff from the 70s and early 80s, like Monty Python and so on. I'm also very fond of the animated films from Studio Ghibli.

I used to be a fairly big fan of thrillers too, but nowdays I find most of them to be rather depressing and if I watch a thriller today it's usually just something old from the 40s or 50s. Like http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0041959/ which I just watched a few hours ago, or http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061556/ which I watched yesterday.

2) what are the WORST movies you have ever watched and why?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0052077/, which is often said to be the worst movie ever made. My sister and I just watched it for laughs.

3) what are your favourite movies?
Amélie
Blade Runner
Cannonball Run
Down with Love
Grosse Pointe Blank
Groundhog Day
Howl's Moving Castle
Laputa: Castle in the Sky
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
Princess Mononoke
Real Genius
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen
The Incredibles
The Royal Tenenbaums
The Sting
Trading Places
Yellowbeard
Young Frankenstein

4) what are your most anticipated movies?
None really. Well, I do look forward to the blu-ray release of http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1340800/ which should fall into my mailbox in ~9 hours from now.

I thought "Glen or Glenda" was even worse. But they both have unintentional hilarity value.

Tim Burton's "Ed Wood", however, is an awesome film. Martin Landau as Bela filming the fight-the-octopus scene....

Haha I just saw that scene the other day while channel surfing. I haven't seen the entire movie, but that was the hilarious. That actor shaking and rattling the octopus, lol.
