Multiplayer CO-OP in a single PC?

I have a question: Will (finaly) the PC have a multiplayer co-op on a single pc? Why is it that only the consoles have this?
I hate not being able to play the CO-OP of MW2 in a single pc...

Split-screen multiplayer is supported yes.
