Must have and why mods, a vidded playthrough.

(starting note) I make gaming commentaries for the internet for people with nothing better to do to watch/listen to. Not a massive following but a decent sized one considering, so i'd like to make this playthrough as pleasing for me to experience, as it is to watch.

Building a new rig soon, and once I do i'm going to be doing a let's play of fallout new vegas most likely on hardcoe (i've beaten it a few times, most recently on very hard, which wasn't hard.), or even fallout 3 (I did love that game as well) if there's enough up to date mods to make it as aesthetically pleasing as new vegas ones can be and are. I may not be vidding everything I do, but I will be vidding most of it.

So far I've liked the idea of having the Willow Companion mod, as this would give me someone to poke fun at for commentating during the playthrough as well as just giving yet another way to immerse myself.

What can anyone recommend in terms of either overhauls, (project NV etc) or things like that, which would enhance the games textures/looks (more fun for someone to watch, including myself) as well as mods to actual in game mechanics. Be it ammo creation ad ons, more items, quests, areas, different feels to the game (recoil, aiming enhancements) whatever else that could possibly be conceived.

A lot of people are going to be watching this (few thousand probably) so it would be decent publicity for the mods I use (not endorsing them just saying i'm happy to put the mods i'm using in the descriptions) so I want the mods to be something that can help immerse me into the game, make it more challenging, (I found I leveled too fast in the current game, karma was too easily influenced) etc etc.

Oh, and I like sniping. :D

I dunno, i'm entirely new to all this (newfag ftw) but i'm extremely interested in it all and would like some input from other people. I've got a fair bit of time before I put together my new rig, so might as well get ahead of the knowledge of what i'd like to do once I get it.

Thanks a lot for any insight that can be given, cheers, have an awesome day ^_^

Quests:
decisions with regrets
The most dangerous game. (they both made by the same guy. The first one has some good dialogue, choices and consequences, freedom, and some dcent small little qusting type stuff. The 2nd one is also good but more combat focused.)

New Vegas bounties 1 and 2. (For if you ever get bored and want to kill certain people for money... you did say you liked sniping.)

Identity crisis 1 and 2. (Decent story, and gameplay. unique and a little bit "out there" but still fits in with the setting.)

Gameplay:
Mojave express expansion. (A good gameplay mod, it expands the Mojave express and is great for packrats because it allows you to mail items to certain locations by using any mailbox.)

Wasteland defense
Real time settler (In case you want to set up your own outpost/base.)

Project ultimatium (make enemies surrender, enslave people, distract enemies, etc.)

Maybe try some increased spawns/battles type mods too like:
WARZONES - Misanthropy Pure
INCREASED WASTELAND SPAWNS
A World Of Pain
etc.
