Which muzzle-brake do you prefer(ARs and SMGS)?

I prefer the down vent, the last muzzlebrake the dual vent looks butt ugly imo.

Exactly what I was thinking. Are the differences between the variants purely cosmetic?

And all the muzzle brakes have identical stats. Just that they look different and alter the muzzle flashes differently.

Kinda depends on the character and gun. For my more aggressive looking heavy soldier with his maximus or chinzor machinegun, I prefer the dual vent muzzle break - looks like a nice spiked barrel you could stab someone with if they got close enough. For my medium engineer with his dual bulpdaun smgs, I use the four vent, since it keeps with the p90/fn2000 appearance. My light medic/operative uses the side vent muzzle break on his smg, and the up vent muzzle break on his pistol.

Down keep those sparks out of my sights!

i just pick the muzzle breaks random. i dont even see a difference in the sparks.
well but didnt have a close look yet.

Purely cosmetic. All have the same stat change (which reduces recoil or increases stability, cannot remember which)
