Mystic Binding

Is this perk worth it in the long run? My character can use regular swords and smith them to be extremely powerful. But I would use the daedric swords and my duel sword weapons to keep my carrying capacity as high as possible. So at higher levels is it still useful or just something for starting off conjuration?

The bound weapons are totally useful the entire game through, just invest your saved smith perks into more armsman upgrades to buff damage.

You dont have to smith to make it through the game even on master, and if you arent a
Smith- then in your game- you arent missing out by using bound, because nothing else is smithed either.

So one handed perks do affect bound swords?
