Mzulft Aedrome - stuck

Post » Sun May 27, 2012 8:16 am

Hello all.

First off, I did a search on the forums but didn't see any results for Mzulft Aedrome. I'm stuck here as I'm supposed to cast heat/cold spells at the crystal atop a strange dwarven machine. I've tried moving all over the place and casting spells at the crystal, but it's no good. I never get any feedback or see anything happening. I know there's a control panel that moves the things on the ceiling, but I think you're not supposed to do that until after you see the light beams so you can line them up properly? Ideas?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank You,

Heat/cold the crystal until the beams are on the rings, then move(using the control panel) the rings until the plates go to the beams.
Also, search for a video on youtube, it explains better what you must do.
Hope this helps.

It was really hard to get it to do anything. I think I got it to work when standing by the levers on top or maybe just at the bottom of the stairs. I think I used freeze or something like that, but it took a while to get it to work.

u have to use the "channeled" fire or frost/cold/ice spells for this.
4 me 2 times of the cold spell used on the crystal in the middle of the room put the beams in the right spot...then just use the controlls to move the crystals

Ah, I see where I'm having the trouble now... it's because I can't see the beams. I thought they were supposed to appear, doh! Thanks for the help guys. I'll fire up the game again and mess with the video settings. Maybe then this will make a lot more sense for me. :)
