So I walked out of Dragonreach today after disenchanting a few items and found myself frozen.

After I realize that I had been forced into dialogue with someone I immediately noticed that he is stark naked outside on a cold night. And I thought I had a rough day!

He hands me a note, which has a black hand print on it and the ominous words "We know" on it.


-.- This may have something to do with that Aretino kid.......

Weirder still is that he has clothes in his inventory, but chooses not to wear them.

I am so freaking paranoid now, I refuse to look at the wiki about this so idk whats going to happen or when. I'm talking to everyone with my Flame Atronarch out and my bound sword in one hand, fury spell in the other....

I'm not even sure if him being naked and the letter are related I mean seriously WTF?>!

I've encountered naked couriers quite a bit in my game.

I met a naked courier once. Thought the poor chap got mugged on the road and the damn bandits took his clothes.

He has a special package just for you...

He has a special delivery, for your eyes only...

This happened to me in Markarth when a dragon was attacking inside the city. I reloaded that save about 20 times just to watch the dragon attack, so I saw the naked courier a lot. I think it is due to an autosave problem when not all data gets loaded.

I met a naked courier once, too. I thought that I must've run into his corpse after bandits had killed him or something, and that i had looted his clothes. Or that I had used him as a test guinea piggie for the Perfect Touch perk.

I've also a group of naked revelers in my game. They like to hang out in the snowy parts of Skyrim, like the farms near Windhelm or the like. That honningbrew stuff must really keep them warm and happy.

sometimes they have a really bad time of things... I'd love to be able to tip them or give them items I'd otherwise sell... and sadly, poor guy stands around town naked and just says "Nope, nothing."

I've run into the naked courier before myself, but fortunately the only time it's been in a combat situation was during a brawl, so I wasn't going to get killed while stuck in the conversation.

Oh, the naked courier and the freaking wandering naked revelers! The main reason I took my naked male skins out of the game is because for some reason after about 100 hours of game, the couriers are naked about 75% of the time. I get the revelers running around naked outside Windhelm as well, and have shared many bottles of mead and gotten several really nice enchanted necklaces and once a ring of peerless smithing.

I have a few screens I'll post when I get on my game computer. First time I got the naked courier was outside Riften. CTD every time till I went back about 10 saves and relaoded. He still ran up naked, but thanfully the CTD issue stopped for the most part.

Any time I get a CTD after Fast Travel it is related to either the courier being naked, or just recently some of the villagers and NPCs.

I've seen plenty of naked people with clothes in their inventory, but none of them living. one of the ghosts in Yngvild cave was naked too, but as a ghost she doesn't count as "living"

I had a naked one deliver Falk Firebeard's follow-on note. I was less interested in the note than I was in figuring out how the courier managed to stay alive - not only in a Skyrim winter, but with no clothing while confronting beasts, bandits, and general all around bad guys.....

well, the courier obviosuly has a special package for the Dovahkiin. I run away from them.
