Naked people walking around?

One night I entered Whiterun and a courier ran towards me to deliver a letter and he was naked! All he had on was a loin cloth! What is the story there? Did somebody pickpocket his clothes?

I think it's an easter egg. Someone will sure come along with clarification, but I think there was something in Oblivion or Morrowind wherein a Courier was mugged or something.

I think it is just a game glitch. I have seen the naked currier but I have also seen a naked NPC lady in Dragon Bridge. When I returned though she was clothed again just sweeping her porch.

The courier and other "naked" people (except the naturalists at a hot spring) have clothing in thier inventory, but they are not equipping the clothes. I actually thought it was a uniform for the civilian couriers :bolt:

I've had "naked" couriers, shop-owners (you never want to see Belethor naked, trust me), and--my personal favorite--a Redguard woman being questioned by two Alik'r warriors. (Or at least that's what they pretended to be doing anyway.)

I've had "naked" couriers, shop-owners (you never want to see Belethor naked, trust me), and--my personal favorite--a Redguard woman being questioned by two Alik'r warriors. (Or at least that's what they pretended to be doing anyway.)

I had my fair share with naked couriers. Not a good sight to see either, especially when you had a naked mod installed on your game.

I haven't had a naked courier but I started a new character awhile back and first trip to whiterun and everyone was in their bday suits

It's a glitch. if you pickpocket and check his inventory, the clothes are there -he just doesn't have them equipped.

I wonder if this Skyrim striptease is caused by a mod or a conflict between mods. I sure haven't see this and I'm L 50 so I've been around some.

Could be exacerbated by mods, but I'm on PS3 and have seen the Naked Courier and naked Redguard woman once each

I have only seen the naked courier in Whiterun. Perhaps because it is so temperate there......
