NCR and Great Khan

Hey there guys Hows everyones saturday going?

Ok my question. So I'm trying to unite the Great Khans with the NCR. I'm on the quest "Oh my papa" and I've pretty much completed it. All I have to do is talk to papa khan then its complete. Only thing is when I completed it the first time, all I had as far as choices go was to give him the book. Then he went on some rant about being like the mongrols and that doesn't help my situation in the very least!

So what am I missing here. I have now discovered the dam and have talk to moore and she doesn't have any dialogue conserning the great khans.

So what am I even do to? I have already tried killing papa khan and talking to regis but he doesn't have anything either..

This quest was very confusing for me as well, because it makes you think that you can keep Papa in charge and also get them allied with the NCR. As far as I know, that isn't possible. If you want them to ally with NCR, it seems that you have to kill Papa.

Giving him the book will resolve the quest, though. Just go back to Col. Moore and tell her that the Khans are no longer a problem. All it means is that you won't have any Khan support in the final battle, but to be honest, they aren't much help anyway, and giving them their identity via the Mongol book seems to be the "good" way to complete the quest.

I didn't know you could unite the two.

I leave Papa in place and give him the history book and get him to break their alliance with Caesar. Later, I tell Moore that the Khans will never bother anybody again.

It actually works out really good for the Khans.

Yes apparently if you do the quest a specific way you can unite the 2 instead of them allying with ceasar.

And yea Mister Nutsy I suppose it is the "good" way to complete the quest now that I look at it. I just want everyone to be friends though.

That's a better solution then mine. After he ranted about the NCR, I killed him and everyone else. I'm going to try it your way next time o.O
