quick questions...

1. Can you actually join the NCR? like literally become a soldier?

2. If your character is Female can you do Ceaser's Legion quests?

I've never seen an official 'You become an NCR trooper' moment, but you can do extensive work for them.

I have heard you can, but I'm not sure.

Im thinking about making an evil female melee weapon biotch legionarrie but Im scared I may be enslaved....

i've yet to be able to become an anyone, even after ridiculous amount of work, (like clearing out vault 3 for the ncr. and what do they give me? a few caps and a pat on the back)

You can be a woman and work for the Legion. You just can't fight in their arena and you'll get a few derogatory comments.

The only reason ive asked is because ive heard NCR on the strip saying "go to McCaren to join up" or something like that...

Ive tried to join but from what ive seen you cant. But if u wear NCR armor then u will be recognized as a soldier. thats what I do, i toss on the red beret and RP as a 1st recon sniper. Some NCR NPC's say things like "A ranger on the strip? Good company sir" or like "red berets looking good soldier".. so it kinda makes me feel im apart of the military.

I might be wrong, but I think they're refering to Boone -- not you.

Doesn't really matter though; it's easy enough to roleplay as an NCR soldier.
