NCR Retaking NCRF Prison

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 2:22 pm

The strategy guide says that if you do some quests for the PG prison leader, you get an opportunity to doublecross him and help the NCR retake the prison. But is there anyway to get this quest to help the NCR retake the prison without working for the PG leader? I kept thinking I'd get offered a quest to retake the prison by the NCR but nothing happens. It seems to be a lingering issue that's never resolved if you play the straight good guy route.

That's a good question. The NCR guys near Primm bring this up, but you can never follow up on it.

The missions that you do (2 if I remember right) do not require you to do anything "bad". You can negotiate with the folks you are sent to kill and still accomplish the mission (NCR is not Eddie's target in the early missions). So long story short you can still take the "good guy route" by doing the couple of missions for the powder gangers.

Yes. I understand that but my point is why would a "good" character go to a prison taken over by a bunch of convicts to begin with. That's the issue. It's out of character to do so.
