I only saw them at Hoover Dam during a special quest, and at the very end of the game. Never ran into any in the wastes.

sure did!

The sniper guarding camp forlornhope was an NCR_Ranger, and he had the same armor as the guy off the boxart, tough as hell to kill!

Also saw couple of NCR troopers wearing FO3 BOS powerarmour with NCR logos.

pretty cool stuff.

i svck at giving directions but ill give it a try

Its to the far eastern side of the map close to where nelson(casear legons camp) located and if you find a place called south_windmill farm then youre almost there, just turn left up a hill.

BTW when i first got there the NCR wasnt wearing powerarmour; couple of em started to wear the armour right after finding the BOS bunker and the NCR trooper also spawned as a Ranger.

guessing influence and rep. have something to do with it.

Do you find the BOS bunker in the main quest or side quest? Could you lead me in the right direction possibly. I just found Camp Forlorn Hope

You probaly already got it on your map

it's called Hidden_Valley, and one of the bunkers round the area is where youll find the BOS, but heres the badnews

A. The lock on the bunkerdoor is very hard to pick, you have to have 80 pts or higher to picklock it

B. If youve advanced far into the story where youre already in new vegas, you'll hear word about them and instead of having to pick their lock theyll introduce themselves to you.
P.S they're not very nice :(

Ive only ran into the one in forlorn, but my guess would be the more you help out NCR the better your chances are of seeing them.

Level 10 I ran into one at the ranger base a little southwest of Hoover Dam. I forget exactly what the base is called...Delta I think. Based very largely on luck. If you would like the console code for it I can hook you up.

EDIT:
Found this pic on where it is:

Already? You call 24 hours "already"? Plenty of time to breeze through the mainquest, and come back for the rest of the goodin's!

Its really understandable to stick to the main quest until you finish it.Its gonna get you feeling more involved than doing the odd part of it, goofing around for 72 hours, then going back as an uber powerful guy with nothing to gain in regards to money and items.

I wont do that myself but I can see why someone would choose to.
