They look bad...

They look great, especially for the type of character you're going for.

If you don't like them, oh well because they're really your only choice for unenchanted "evil looking" robes...

Whatever you want. You will be an OP, God-like character soon... what does a Deity like to wear? Whatever he/she wants.
Black robes... sure... why not, fits the stereotypical roll.

Yes. Obviously.
I second the motion.

If there were any unenchanted Thalmor robes, I'd recommend those... but there aren't.
I WILL however recommend Thalmor Gloves and Boots...

Too bad it couldn't be pink. Amiright? Nothing like a guy dressed in pink to melt faces.

Actually in roman times. Purple signified the extreme rich. Now what?

That has nothing to do with dark wizards.

Sure it does. Greed is a part of evil at most times. I rather think that his snide comment about purple was that it was feminizing his "ozmg- demigod" male character.

It looks fine on an evil character

As headgear goes.... hoods are one option. Circlets are another. I don't know of any black hoods naturally available in the game though...
I used a Mourner's Hat (like a black bandanna) from the clothing shop in Solitude on my first char...
I've got some slightly crappy screenshots somewhere.... one moment...

No no. The plain black and blue robes come in hooded and non hooded versions, and i think you can find hooded/non hooded versions of other colours to.

You mean a "Black Wizard?"

What he wears does not have to fit his class.

Obviously spelled that way because I was quoting him, but I'll change it to meet your demands. Anyhow, he said he wants something that fits a "black wizard", is it that hard to comprehend?

No.

The point was "what he wears does not have to fit his class."

Because he's obviously not finding something he likes. Therefore, he has the option to run with attire that doesn't scream "evil mage."

Hectic... I assumed that Black Wizard or mage just meant evil. Who knew it was actually a resto casting mage who heals a bunch of fatally ill people but hell, he has to wear black.

Lol. I like this thread
