OK I need a hand **SPOILERS**

Post » Sun Jul 01, 2012 8:29 am

Lost track of where I was, and accidentally wandered over to Krosis. I released dragons, and there's a "dragon" with frost attacks there also.

THEN, I lost my bearings and got too close to the coffin... so now I've got to fight both.

I'm an assassin/thief

Level 11 (7 perks spent) 3 perks unspent. I plan on V/N this build, so no perks affected will be taken. Otherwise I'm open to suggestions.

Fine Orcish bow: (30 damage) (37 steel arrows, 31 ancient nord arrows, 14 orcish, 116 iron)

17 minor healing Potions
Potion of healing
4 Potions of minor magicka
Potion of resist cold
2 Potions of restore health (22 HP)
Potion of true shot
Scrolls:

Bane of the Undead
FIre storm

Mayhem (useless)

Stats: Magicka 150 HP 185 Stamina 120

Spells: Calm, Clairvoyance, Fear, Flames, Fury, Healing, Lesser Ward, Oakflesh, Raise Zombie, Sparks, Fus (one word). (I used command animal today).

I'm a Bosmer... Wut Do?

Fight, or run. If fight... I'm in trouble. I'll check his chest. If I can make it there alive.

Staff of Magelight (really?!) Dwarven Armor (no help... same AR as my FIne Leather), some gold, some arrows, a frenzy poison, and another scroll of mayhem.

Jesus I'm boned I think. Any help appreciated.

If fight, I need some tactics. Paused for help... :P

NOTE: I'm on PS3 patch 1.5 (no DLC... PLEASE no spoilers for DLC). Thanks. :)

Er, krosis at level 11? Run, just run. Its your only choice. Guys level is static, + he float away whenever you get close.

Fight him, but kill the wordwall dragon first so you don't have to battle both in tandem. You say there is an additional dragon there as well? That's just bad luck!

First Oakflesh, then magicka potions. Krosis is a frost based DP, so use fire on him (storm or ball) with your refilled magicka after Oakflesh. I would also use my potion of true shot + orcish arrows & bow at rage if you can. Perhaps take cover behind the dragon skeleton if available, or any stone walls. Do this until your magic is back up and throw some more lames at him.

When I fought him, I got way in close with my warrior and just hammered away on him, but you're getting more damage out of your bow so thats a better bet for you.

It's my understanding that if I run, he disappears and I lose the mask (and Konahrik later). And yeah... he's got 1,490 HP. I've taken him at level 1, but I was a bit more prepared then. :P

No no... only one dragon. I've only got one fireball scroll, but the flames DOES sound like a helpful bit of advice.

Any ideas on how to get him to drain out his fireball staff, without murdering me?

I'm open to picking up Novice Restoration, since I plan on taking that anyway (for keeping up Lesser Ward a bit longer).

Dodging will be hard...use sprint to hide behind the stones...also focus on the dragon first...try to go north from the word wall to draw the dragon away.

Just run run run!
Or try and get him stuck on the rocks behind the wall. If he gets stuck, you should be able to just pelt him with arrows.
Definitely get that Dragon out of the way first! He'll make your job a LOT harder!

I'm not sure that they even can drain their staves, but one way I might consider for you would be hiring a follower strictly for this one battle (if you've got a save before you went to Shearpoint). Get a tank hireling-follower that will charge at Krosis while you arrow him from a distance. That should take some of the pressure off you.

Use your Wabbajack! At least that's what I did when I fought him at a lower level, transformed him a few times and he died. But for you, your best bet is luring the dragon away and handling him first and then gettin Krosis stuck on some rocks and just lay into him with arrows.
