we already discuss about it. so before you post perhaps, you could browse older post to check it.

some using : anti Material Rifle. expensive
some using : melee weapon like super sledge ( muller ) then knock down and keep melee it , must reach 50 skill.

some just : avoid it. and Run.and jump to high rock or places

in the low level, better avoid it. no matter how many companion you get.

Slasher, Psycho, Jet, Ultra Jet, Rocket, MedX, and a ballistics fist to the face of said deathclaws. problem solved. Bean bag bullets are fired from shotguns, and will knock down enemies. Which can definitely help against DC's.

I prefer the Gauss Rifle mahself. And the Multiplas for when gets the jump on me (aim for the head with VATS). If two get the jump on me? I'm screwed.

As for the Quarry Junction, it may be best to find an alternate route in that's not through the gauntlet. There's one on the north side of the quarry, that's where I got in.

I crouch upon the rocks on the left side as you enter the quary, the deathclaws cannot get up there, then I leisurely pick them off with the cowboy repeater and ratslayer, uses a lot of ammo, but I know I will soon get the ammo back.

Fat Man (if modded so that it actually does damage again).

I've got 5 mini-nukes squirreled away in my current game, I'm going to take the ol' Fat Man for a spin later.

A sniper character can one-shot deathclaws, but only at higher levels and with a sniper rifle.

I think you just need to be at a higher level before attempting deathclaws.

Anti-Materiel Rifle + AP Ammo + Steady if you lack enough Guns = One dead deathclaw. You can be a level two, as long as you have this equipment and a steady hand you can one shot those things 'till the Brahmin come home.
