I seem to have gotten myself into a little bind with my marriage on Skyrim. In the first few weeks of Skyrim's release when I heard of the marriage feature and how it could net you some easy gold with each in-game day, I quickly married the first woman I could find. Well today I found someone that I thought would actually make a good Skyrim wife but I remembered that woman I had married so many months ago. I then assassinated her in hope that I could get another Amulet of Mara in Riften but when I talk to Maramel no option to purchase the amulet appears.

I believe I disenchanted my original Amulet of Mara for whatever reason. Is it possible to even get another amulet through random loot or from a particular quest?

Yes , they can be found.

But what's the point of finding another...you can't remarry, can you?

You can't unless you're on pc, there might be a mod for that.
