Need help with new RP

Post » Thu Jun 21, 2012 11:42 pm

Hi everyone,

Want to start a new character and actually take it seriously. I have been playing characters that aren't serious and just goof around.

I want to role play as a pirate and I think it could apply to all the faction quest lines. Being a cut-throat who wants nothing but to gain as much wealth and treasure as he explores with his skills with a dagger and blade would fit as a fighter in the fighter's guild, part of the DB, definitely Thieve's guild, and some magic (alteration) for detect life spells which could flow into the mages guild.

My initial idea was to use a dagger for stealth use and then dual wielding scimitars for fighting multiple enemies.

Anyone have any suggestions on perk distribution? I have never really planned a character that well. I like the idea of not wearing armor for mage armor perks to work if I need them.

Thanks

Sneak, Pickpocket, and Speech for a Pirate (as in my Build guide) along with your 1H dual wielding skill. Pickpocket is optional but a very Pirate-y thing to do. For 1H put points into Armsman (5/5), Dual Flurry (2/2), and Dual Savagery (1/1). Fighting Stance and Savage Strike are good as well if you really want them. Bladesman is a must (3/3). For Sneak go with Stealth (2/5), Backstab, Deadly Aim, and Assassin's Blade (all 1/1). For Pickpocket go for Light Fingers (5/5), Night Thief (1/1), and Cutpurse (1/1). As for Speech go for any and every perk you can get. That is about all the advice i got

Here is my old Build guide for it http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1369805-bard-and-pirate-guide-and-discussion-character-builds/page__fromsearch__1
