i need more books

Post » Wed May 18, 2011 10:58 pm

fallout 3 had the option to collect 25 books and with the comprehension perk get 2 points from each , and u could easily have 50 points in each skill , and with the bobblehead u got to 60 points

right now i 'm playing with inteligence of 1 , and only raising my weapons skill , sneak skill , and a some random points where i need to craft certain things , but i would like to have more books

I think the point is to make you choose what kind of player you are going to be, not to let you be super awesome at everything. When you play with an Inteligence of 1, you are going to have a pretty bad character, no lie.

It's not likely; the Mantis Leg cheat still works, and so does the Sierra Madre casual clothing cheat. Heck, they never fixed the millions of O:A exploits.

So share. :stare:

ok then on ps3 if you go to the ranger outpost by the supper mutant loge there is a duck and cover on the table if you take it read it then save your game. then uninstall your game system file load up the game file on the disk and not the patch then load your saved game and save it again then download the 1.05 patch again and you get the book back on the table and all the thing in the safe houses are back iv got 3 pears of lucky shades. it takes time to to but iv done it till i get 100% on Explosives from doing it

With an intelligence of 1 I doubt you can read books!

i like charisma , so i keep it at 10 , i don't find any use for intelect , all i end up with 50 skill points at lvl 40 in most skill trees , and a few skill trees at 100 , i just don't see any point of having an intelligence higher then 1

i don't like to cheat so any exploit is really unnecesary , and i have console so i can just pop down the console click on the legendary deathclaw and type "kill" so cheating is of no use

When I read your title I was thinking you needed RL books so I went through the trouble to copy this http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1196727-suggested-reading-for-fallout-fans/page__gopid__17804809#entry17804809

sorry I know it's off topic, but I took all of that time :cryvaultboy:

Ditto.

With a medium or high intelligence and forty experience levels, the pre-existing books are more than enough. Making your character 'tarded (i.e, 1 intelligence) won't make him more skilled. Not everyone gets to be Rain Man.

What does that even mean? Talking about a video game, not life. And in either, you can't always get what you want.... (cue in Rolling Stones)

That's not true. Having an intelligence of 1 means you can put more points into agility/perception/strength/Luck. He probably has a character more combat effective than you.

I never raise my intelligence past 4, and then I increase it by 1 with implants. The only reason I have an intelligence of 5 is because I want the pack rat perk/comprehension/educated.
