Need an opinion (spoiler)

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 2:17 pm

Hi I know there is or was a million threads on this but I was just wondering which is the better quest line (more fun and interesting) for the Civil War. Is it better to do the Stormcloaks or Imperials? Anyone have an opinion??

I am a Stormcloak. Try that first. Btw, the Imperials makes a funny noise when they die. I laugh like every time when they make that noise XD

Well, you don't actually have to do either one. I'd suggest you have a couple of toons, run them concurrently, one for Imperials, one for Stormcloaks.

At the same time, Gideon Emery plays the voice of a lot Imperial soldiers. When you win battles, he makes a cool noise. I mean, he's just a good actor. Got a cool battlecry.

Once again both are equal in their pros & cons.

Just use the search function that this website offers.. Your going to see the same THING on them, one each of them, as you will here.

Honestly there isnt really a better choice, it comes down to which side you prefer or find more appealing. I side with the Legion. Oh and Jusey1, I find that stormcloaks also make a funny sound when they die at times, I find it most enjoyable

There are a couple things missing from the Imperials: the stereotypical Imperial English accent that they used to use for all Romans, and a decent emperor. Well they are an occupied nation now. If you play through as an Imperial and have a house in Riften, you need to understand that the Thalmor will then be in your town. Do you want that?

Obviously I'm a stormcloak. I played through as a Stormcloak. About the only significant thing I've seen in the towns is that people have mentioned that the stormcloak soldiers that take over for the city guards don't bathe as frequently, otherwise things are relatively the same. Do you want smelly guards?

Of course, in keeping with tradition, given the weather conditions bathing? You might catch your death of cold. Especially if you're not a Nord. Non-Nords will probably smell pretty bad.

Honestly I don't think by the time TES VI comes out it's going to matter anyway. All this arguing and speculation about which one is better for opposing the Thalmor is going to be irrelevant. The Dovahkiin is going to go down as a footnote in a book about the fall of the Empire regardless of who wins the civil war. The book will be by M'aiq the Liar and speak of the events and of this dragonslayer he met in his travels in the cold land of Skyrim while looking for a warm place to sleep. Some of it will be true. Some of it will be lies. M'aiq reports. You decide.

Sonja.... in the interests of fair play.... shouldn't you run a new toon through the Imperial quest line?

fair play? fair play? moi?

considering that after playing the demo for Mass Effect 3 and seeing the horrible animations for the female Shepard (she walks and runs like The Cole Train from Gears except she's stick thin), I don't know how long I'm going to be able to play the game. I can't stand the voice actor for the male Shepard... so unless the demo was gimped it might be a short game for me. Sad. BW needs to get their animation crew out to watch real women walk and run instead of using magazines. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ye0Rl16elKo Sorry for the OT rant, but there it is.

So if the above paragraph is true, I'll be running an Imperial character through the game in all likelihood.

Imperial, but they just don't feel right patroling east side of Skyrim with their short skirts on. And this is making be feel like joining the Nords for my second playthrough.
