We need some strong horses that aren't 'evil'.

Post » Thu Jun 28, 2012 5:53 pm

We have two acceptable horses in skyrim at the moment:
Spoiler
Shadowmere, given to you during the dark brotherhood questline, so isn't acceptable for 'good' characters.
Spoiler
Arvak, the undead flaming horse from dawnguard. Not particularly evil, but it doesn't look right for 'good' characters IMO.

Why can't we just have the equivalent to the first horse in the spoiler tag for good characters? Think gandalf's horse in lord of the rings, or even just a normal look brown horse that has the ability to take a hit.

Arvak isn't necessarily evil, you find his skull in the soul cairn, then you have the ability to summon him in Tamriel. He just doesn't look right for good characters though, it's an undead flaming horse.

You have Frost.
That's not an option, the quest is too buggy. I don't think frost is any stronger than normal horses anyway, which are too weak.

Don't be Games Workshop!

 As long as my beloved blood angels are still sleek, I shall find this funny.

If they made them spikey I might have a small cry....

Just read up on it, he's level 25 compared to the normal horses level 4. He has more health and stamina, but you do have to complete the buggy quest to get him.

You also have to be kind of a jerk to get him.

Doesn't exactly fit in well with a 'good character'.

Maven isn't exactly good herself though, stealing from her wouldn't be the worst thing. I could probably justify that on one of my characters.

It's just the prospect of having 300 louis letrush outside Whiterun.
