So, I'm progressing through the storyline and I get to the point where I am supposed to approach the Boomers out at Nellis Air Force Base. After about 5 or 6 deaths from the artillery shells bombing me I make it to the front gate only to find out that I have NO WAY IN. I've patrolled many other sites and I've been told that I am supposed to be let in by the guard who is facing the opposite direction staring at the pretty airport.

Any fix for this yet??

How did you get that far ? I keep getting blasted away

Try moving to different parts of the fence.




In a nutshell: Run. Like. Hell.

Getting in is easy. Run like hell, sticking to the left along the canyon wall. On your right you'll see a building, get there and couch in the corner and hope you don't get shell shocked. Once the bombs stop falling, run the rest of the way to the fence, then run along it to the gate.


P.S. have your companion wait near the dude with the wager, or dismiss them.

I have ran all along the fence, from one end to the other, I actually even tried throwing grenades (both by hand and with the grenade mg) at the guy to see if he'd move and he just stood there.

Also, If you head more to the east from the main gate almost to the railroad tracks, theres a rock that almost overhangs the fence, I tried to jump it and there's an invisible wall above the damn fence.

My strategy was just keep tucked up to the rocks on the left and run like hell.

Edit: alright, I started a whole new game on hardcoe mode, and the one of the first things I did was test this glitch and the guy sprinted straight for me once I reached the gate. This glitch svcks but atleast I can still beat the game.
