I have been a long time Bethesda fan, even through the dark days of Daggerfalls release (when you were releasing a patch a day almost). I have played every Elder Scroll game that had been made since Redguard and today i finally got around to buying Skyrim, I was getting burnt out on my MMORPGS. I went to install it and found....STEAM...WTF???? I HAVE to have steam to play this????? i accept this is my fault for not reading the requirements, i never have to b/c my pc handles everything at full FPS. This is ridiculous to HAVE to HAVE steam (quite possibly the biggest POS on the internet, populated by 9 year old parental rejects. I am so mad it's unbelievable......I had bought every Add on pack with oblivion and used multiple mods w/o the need of this hunk of coded junk, and now i am being told that in order to use your game that I paid MY money for i have to have this Hacker hangout on my PC?? You just lost a lifetime customer. I will NEVER under any circumstances EVER buy another Bethesda product again! Unfortunatly i bought this on direct2drive and i doubt they give me my money back, so looks like i got stuck with it.........
