It's some show on Youtube called Salad Fingers. To be honest, this first episode isn't too bad, but the next one, and all the episodes after it give me nightmares. It's weird, because I've never really been scared by movies or anything like that, but somehow this simple animated show which features almost no gore or anything creeps me the [censored] out.

Although I have to question who the hell has a mind messed up enough to make these videos, they are one of the few things that I can say have actually freaked me out.

My girlfriend showed these to me a while back. I've heard they were created by someone who resides in a mental institution, but no idea if there's any truth behind that.

Salad Fingers is fantastic. I'm so happy new ones were made.

Yes it's damned creepy. I've always been way more affected by mental fears, like The Silence Of The Lambs or Salad Fingers (I'm not scared of Salad Fingers, but I do find it creepy), than I am slasher flicks or horror movies with things jumping out unexpectedly.

Those don't freak me out really. Most likely due to the lack of canine creatures.

:D When one thing scares you particularly much any other fears just seem insignificant in comparison, a blessing in the disguise of a curse.

OMG

*goes to fat-pie*

I love David Firth. Watch The Milkman.

Also, watch Jerry Jackson's Saland Fingers parody if you want to stop being scared by SF.

Salad fingers is amazing. Creepy as all hell, but amazing.

As far as I know, the creator of the series (David Firth) isn't crazy or demented, but he does have the ability to create those sorts of animations. The really interesting thing is you never know if there is supposed to be a hidden meaning behind the flash, or if its just creepy for creepy's sake.

I also like another set of flashes he made called "A Black and White Cartoon about Berries" and "A Black and White Cartoon about Roof Tiling".

I find it hilarious actually.

Nothing creepy in my opinion.

or or floor sugar.. I do like some floor sugar on occasion..

I find them to have a significant lack of chainsaws..

..and crowbars as well.

More meat cleavers would do the trick, or maybe just a few fashionably decorated meathook accessories..

salad fingers likes accessories. :liplick:

Salad Fingers is good, but I find his other animations to be far more disturbing and even heavily depressing to watch. I have to admire the man for his ability to create such bleak and dark settings. If he wrote books, I'd most definitely read them, preferably nowhere near a balcony window, a noose, a knife, or pills.

I'd forgotten all about David Firth's stuff. He's a chap possessed of a very odd and somewhat disturbing imagination. I'll have to remember to see what new weirdness is in store!
