There is the Forgotten Vale. Also, when in the Dawnguard Castle, grab from a bookshelf the book called Aetherium Wars. Starts a quest that has nothing to do with the Dawnguard or the Vampires.

I'm not sure about the size comparison, but it's pretty big. You can come and go as you please.

Forgotten vale is as big, if not bigger than blackreach, and there is actually stuff to do there.

Its big enough that it has multiple teleport wayshrines when you get there.

And it is absolutely gorgeous.

Part of the dlc questline. You cannot find it without the quest. There is another quest you can get if you read the aetherium wars book that has nothing to do with either the dawnguard or vampires.

Thanks, but i was asking about its physical location. Even if inaccessible before dg, can it be located in the main world or is it a separate area like those two I mentioned?

It's in the border between high rock and skyrim.

It's slightly Northwest of Markarth. For inctance, you need to tilt your map to see the marker just like you do with the dawnguard fort. You can only access it initially by a waypoint shrine, and from then on you can f/t there whenever you want.

It's bigger than Blackreach, open sky and absolutely stunning.

Cool but I'm confused what is there to do there? Hunt and kill trolls and those dragons?
