New character help?

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 3:57 pm

I can't think of a new one! Mages are boring, warrior types just tank, theive/assasins are okay but repetitive.. Archers are good but also repetitive.. I need something new?! And also a small Rp to go with that build?

Don't try to build an archetype.
Walk out of Helgen and use the first thing you need to. Just go from there.

Building archetypes in Skyrim is fruitless. The game is designed to push you everywhere and no where.

Nightblade.
Essentially all three classes in one.
Skills:
Sneak
Conjuration
Illusion
Blade
Destruction
Light armor
And anything else you want to add.
Also use the lovers stone. 15% exp bonus to all skills.

Be a tride and true assassin! Make up your own killing rituals, eat and drink, watch your target for literal DAYS, pick your time, know when they have breckfast lunch and dinner and where they have them at and be prepared to strike. Its more fun than it sounds.

I'll need a skyrim mod to create oblivion style classes.

Good advice!!! I did this with the first toon I created, walked out of Helgen and just did what ever I had to, to survive. It was a BLAST to say the least

I miss poisoned apples , I would follow a NPC for ages in Oblivion just to get a belly laugh after watching them eat it

Indeed. A good advice.

If you do want to go for an archetype you may try the crusader.

One melee skill, heavy armor and restoration.
Divide health magica and stamina about equally. That should give you enough offensive power with powerattacks, decent healing capabilities and enough health to fight in melee, but not enough to be a tank type.

Thanks all :) I'm not really doing anything at the moment, I use sneak and a steel dagger, I wear normal clothes. I'm currently chopping wood in morthal - on the run - after killing an Imperial and getting caught by the khajiit traders -_-

Good show
Go with the flow and do what feels natural, better then " knowing " what the end result will be, I found the fulfillment & surprise was the best part of just doing what ever and it kinda ended up reflecting my persona, habits
