I started this topic because I couldn't find a thread that dealt with complaints about the new forum. All i could find was a forum alteration thread that seemed to deal with the firefox addon stylish.

Ive been a member at this site for several years and to be honest im seriously considering not visiting again due to the new forum appearance changes.

The performance on my two computers is terrible The problem is the scrolling. Its not smooth.....Moving down the page is all jerky and hard on they eyes.

This needs to fixed ASAP.

Ive tried firefox and IE and both my computers. Both are dual core. one has Nvidia 128 mb graphics card and the other ATI 512mb card. Both browsers and computers have the laggy scrolling issue and slow loading pages. All other internet forums are fine and the old forum performed well. Its just this new forum !

Im not sure what is causing it.... could be coding or using too high a res background combined with an overloaded server. maybe others with web design experience could provide some answers on why this is now one of the worst forums on the internet for scrolling performance and speed.

I do believe they're still tweaking things. No need to get into a huff. This is a fairly large board (150 000 members...), so things take time I guess.

Yep, let's stick to one thread... and if you read through, you will see that some things have already been corrected, other things are being looked at and reviewed - just need to be patient for a while.
