New game + feature...

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 12:54 pm

I was just thinking it would be cool if I can start a new game whit my character from another same.
I mean we could have the level of each skill as the previous saved character but no equipment and no quest done.

I'm playing on PS3 and mess out some quest that I cannot finish and other that are just bug from the game.

I love my character, but don't whant to replay 125 hours and level 55 again.

What do you think?

I think it would kind of trivialize the game, even if they made the enemies scaled up to your level there would still be nothing to advance in. It would be about the same as if you continued playing the game after the ending, just with 20 hours of main quest added back in.

It seems a big deal staring again but once you begin and just get stuck in it's not as bad as it seems.

it could be an interesting concept to have the ability on consoles to play a new game +

I think if it forced you to keep your character build the same (ie no redistribution of perks) and allowed you to keep non quest related items or even better a pre selected set of items (such as one set of armor, 2 or 3 weapons and a couple of potions chosen at the start) it could work.

having your items can be easily justified by having an "evidence chest" on the wagon you're brought to Helgen in that you can run to when the dragon attacks.

it would allow you the ability to role play being an experienced adventurer that's already well trained and equiped who was wrong place wrong time that gets thrown into the thick of things rather than being a noob at everything.

I like the idea, but i doubt they'd ever give us the option.

i don't get the point though..if you're playing a new game anyway you're starting over, why would you play the same character..?

This. If you are already about level 50, with all the spells and Dragonshouts, and no perks left to distribute, what's the point?
