The Srine of Maridia. Can't finish it.
I returned her becon to her, she raised me up into the air and talked to me and gave m instructions then just held me up in the air.
Since she won't set me down I can't go into her shrine and clean out the evil.

Any one else have this problrm?

From time to time Skyrim gets "stuck".

Go back to a save.

I did that 3 times but the same thing happened all 3 times.
Some times it's the computer that gets svck so I shut down the game and restarted my computer but that didn't help either.

I had a problem similar to this in my first Companion Quest with Farkas and the Silverhand so I had to use 2 simple cheats to make the quest continue or be stuck there forever.
Those 2 cheats only made me miss that one battle but the quest continued with no more problems. But I can't find any for this problem.

reload last save and see if that fixes the problem. If not use an older save. You want to make sure you always have at least two different saves of recent activity for this very reason. I had a problem like this with the Dark Brotherhood. An older recent save solved the problem.

If you have to restart your computer, then something else is wrong.

Ive done the quest several times with no issue.

This is my 3rd or 4th game and this is the first time I've had this problem.
I may have to re-install it. God I hope not. the first time it took hours to install it.

If you have a computer you really should try the PC version. It's so much better.
It's a much larger version with far better colors and graphics and fantastic cut-scenes, it even has great archery cut-scenes.
And if the game does screwup there are fixes or ways around it to force it to continue.
I found how to force the issue with my quest and finished it. You can't do that on a 360.

If you want to try it on your PC, Best Buy will buy your 360 copy for $20 or $30 and give you a gift card for that amount to apply towards the PC version or any thing else you want to buy.

That's how I got mine. Except I also had $10 in Reward Certificates that I used, too, so I got the PC copy for about $20 and I'm really glad I did.

If you're like me and hate the thought of having to learn 1 or 2 dozen computer keystrokes just to play a game, Logitech makes a really great game controller for PCs that's "EXACTLY" like your 360 controller but it works ONLY on PCs. No keystokes to learn. It's just like playing your 360, except you'll also be able to correct errors like the one we had by entering just a few simple words into the keyboard command feature which is very simple to do.

Where we were stuck is the end of that scene but the game wouldn't move to the next scene. But using the keyboard command feature I simply told it to go to the next scene. It did and I continued, completed the quest and got Dawnbreaker. (the reward from Meridia).
