Honestly i love steam. And im not just some random really devoted fan. I HATED steam before i actually started using it. I had to use it with brink and when i saw a sale for a 20 buck game that i had been wanting to play for years, being sold for 5 bucks i said "screw not having a disk thats a good deal".. a summer and winter sale away, i love steam. I love steam workshop. And i don't get all the hate. Out of all the dmr that a company could choose steam stays out of the way.
