The Fallout series has always fostered a deliberate feeling of desolate isolation, and you'd think that multi-player with buddies would really throw a monkey wrench into that.
It was always meant to be a single player experience. This has always been always apparent, and I never had doubts...
Until some brilliant chaps worked out a nifty way to have Multi-player work in Fallout 2 ; I gave it a spin, and it soon convinced me that my earlier opinion was a bit rushed, and closed minded ~and entirely correct.
