i don't have an internet connection at my home, so I use my friend's connections when I want to play online or download stuff. That said, I don't know if there's a new patch available that can fix the problems of Dead Money or something. Is there one yet? And if not, do any of you know when there will be one? I'm not just asking forum members, Bethesda and Obsidian devs :verymad:

Bathsheba needs to create a patch for the patch. There are more glitches in the patch than there is in the game. Boone has become a worthless companion. He can not even hit one single enemy, it takes him four times as long as my character at beginning level to even react to an enemy let alone shoot one, and he refuses to use the sniper rifle. He will go back to his basic junk gun if you do not give him something other than a sniper rifle. He stares at the ground and does not repsond to my character unless spoken to then he puts his arms up on his chest and just stands there like a British Palace Guard, frozen, only moving if my character walks, but not responding in any way except when spoken to. There are more freezes, lock ups, and game crashes than there was before the patch. Dead Money is exactly that, DEAD. It does not function properly and causes the game to crash before you actually get to do anything in the starting menu. This is the worst Messed up glitched out game I have ever attempted to play. I have retarted the game more times than I can count because it crashes everytime I get close to the final part of the game. I will never get to face the A word legion in the final battle at this rate cause the game file refuses to load or locks up 5 seconds after loading then crashes when I get to the final part of the game. So when are they going to ACTUALLY FIX the GLITCHED UP GAME and Create a PATCH for the Patch and FIX DEAD DEAD MONEY ADD ON?

PS: why can't character build a more personal relationship with companions who spends umpteen time with character fighting enemies? Why just immoral immenities and no one on one single person relationships, like boyfriend/girlfriend type or marriage type relationships. Vegas is known for chapel weddings, Why not in game?

Will this patch address staying locked in the BOS abandoned bunker after completing Dead Money? It's very frustrating. I did 10 hours of game-time to tie up loose ends before entering the Sierra Madre and about another 15 hours inside Dead Money and now I need a key that doesn't exist to return to the Mojave.

Kendal - by any chance are you wearing any undroppable/stolen quest items (the rebreather, Motorrunner's helmet, the Van Graff body armor) when you go into the Bunker and get gassed? If so, remove them. svcks being stuck with them but some have been known to make it into the game by unequiping those items (best bet is to unequip everything, just go in naked, all your stuff gets yanked from you anyway)

Soupman - Any chance you still have a save before finishing the Sierra Madre vault dealio? This glitch has been known to happen when you lock the Elder in the vault. I haven't looked that hard but I don't believe I've seen anyone post that had this glitch happen after they killed the Elder. It's unfortunate that you can't complete it one way, but it's a potential work-around.

It happened to me after I killed him. I was locked out of the bunker before and after Dead Money. The only known workaround is to remove the patches then enter/exit the bunker.
