New Summoning Ideas

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 6:37 am

I just got the
Spoiler
Meridia quest
for the first time looked it up online and saw that there is a unique enemy that is scene no where else in the game in the quest. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Corrupted_Shade (Except ours should spawn with a daedric weapon to keep it looking awsome) They should definitley add this in as a summonable creature in either a free patch or a DLC.

How freakin cool is that enemy! I wanted to see other people's 'believable' ideas for summons that could be linked to conjuration. By believable I mean lets not say we should be able to summon the giant Dagoth Ur from Oblivion.

The Shaded remind me of the Banshees from Oblivion. God I hated the Banshees. But I too wish I could summon the Shades. To bad they make the same noise as skeletons. They should have had their own call. Like the Banshees had that horrible screeching scream.

I loved the shades, I spawned one on PC and forced it to be my companion but the smoke effects kept lagging out my computer...

I just want more summons, like skeletons and other daedra... Oh and a dremora thrall.

Remember all the different summons you had in Morrowind and Oblivion. Now we are down to 5 summons :(. I also wish the familiar would change with lvl/skillor you could choose it!

I would have loved the Necromancy path in Conjuration to have perks for summons like Skeletons, Wraiths, Ghosts, and Liches, while the Atronach line could also have perks for other Daedra such as the Spider Daedras, Scamps, Daedroths, Dremoras, etc.

How about http://images.uesp.net/8/8d/MW-creature-Winged_Twilight.jpg? Would love to see with Skyrims graphics. And yeah Golden Saints and Dark Seducers should have been as summons.

You can summon them with my http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=10463, along with skeletons, draugr, and ghostly dragon priests.

I'd like to be able to use Dead Thrall and/or a dual cast of Dread Zombie to turn a fresh set of dragon bones into a skeletal dragon.

That would be cool but to powerful and cumbersome to have. Think how big a dragon is and how small dungeon hallways are. Maybe a baby dragon or something closely related to a dragon as a summoning.

i just thought of an idea for summing a dragon skeleton. it would be a master conjuration spell were you first after killing a dragon have to use a master level revive dead spell on the dragon and after that you can summon it when ever you want untill it dies then you would have to do the whole thing over again on anouther dragon. what do you think

Or at least be able to create some horrible abomination against nature with it, such as http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Shivering:Shambles. It just seems like a waste perfectly good of bones.

Same thing as I stated above but more focused on having such a huge object follow you around would be a pain to program and really too powerful of a summon

well yeah but lets just say that since its dead that it wouldn't be as power full and that would also be why its a master level spell

Hmm have you fought the skeleton dragon in
Spoiler
labyrinth dungeon that is apart of the college's story line
they really are not that easy to kill. Plus once again it the same reason you don't find dragons in dungeons or giants that often they as an object are to large and would get stuck very easily.

It'd be awesome if there was a necromancy spell to resurrect a corpse's soul, the body would stay dead but you'd get a blue ghost in their shape to follow you and fight.

yes i have done that part idk my last playthrough i took it out pretty fast but maybe it was just cause i was high level in destruction idk but maybe the baby dragon idea could work but instead just when it comes back to gether it makes it smaller idk just a thought

i like where you are going with this idea. what if say that was an expert level spell and then at master level you could do it on live enemys that would be awesome

but just throwing in my ideas it might be to powerfull so it migh have to become a power you can use once a day or just have it consume all your magika and make the magika regeneration a certain % slower than normal so it take a while before you can use it again

Dragons are too big. But I can see bodies of giants, mammals or dragons been used to summon a Shambles. (Sort of a bone golem)

I like the bone golem idea with what makes it up affect its strength
