So guys, I want to know your opinions on the current Box Art for New Vegas. The Box Art isn't new information, and everyone should know what it looks like, but here's a link to it anyway.

Well, I was looking/studying at the Box Art this morning and thought "This looks pretty crap." I'd like to know your opinions.
Personally, I think (as I've said) that it doesn't look good at all, for some reason the figure on it strikes me as somewhat clay-like (?), (I don't really know how to put it) and the sign seems less bright than it should be. Anyway, my point is if I was looking through a store and saw the game and hadn't played Fallout 3, I'd think it was some sort of cheap, old, dull, boring game with poor graphics. When I put my thoughts into words I'm not really making any sense, but I hope someone gets my point.
So I'd like to know what you guys think of it, but mainly what you'd like to see on it.
Also, would you like the Box Art to change, and do you think it will change?

Like it, Reminds me of the Fallout 3 cover with the Brotherhood of Steel guy on it except now we have a badass NCR guy on the cover. :tops:

I like how it is easy on the eyes, but I don't like the image. A guy toting a gun in a gasmask seems a bit generic - like James Bond from hell.

I wouldn't say it's crappy, just really generic and uncreative -- at least they included the Strip in the background to add some flavour to it. Though, I couldn't give a toss about the box art, so I don't really have any right to be picky... but I want to be.

Another thing I don't like is having an NCR member on the front. This insinuates that they're the main faction, or the 'good guys', when the player is supposed to be able to pick from a number of groups who are all apparently morally grey. But to be fair, I couldn't think of anything else to put on there, so I'll shut up.

Don't really care. It isn't like we're going to be looking at it a whole lot except for those brief seconds when we pull it from the shelf to put the game in. As long as it has the title so it's recognizeable, the cover could have a portrait of George Washington juggling chainsaws for what it was worth.

The box art seems fine to me, at the very least I don't see a reason to change it.

I hate it but since every game has had a person with helmet that covers his/her face and a cool armor on the cover I can assume it's going to be that way for the rest of the games as well.

I don't hate it, I like it and think it's fitting. To change it, I don't care, because they could make it better or make it worse to me? But it's not the box art that gets me, it's the actual story of the game and the gameplay that I like.

I just think it's hilarious that the NCR soldier looks like hes making a sad face ( / _ \ ) due to the helmet's shadow. :rofl:

I voted don't care. Once I have a game all I can see is the spine of the box on the shelf. :shrug:

Really it doesn't matter sense your just playing the game, the box art is just there, but if I could make a huge decision, I would have there be 4 covers. One for the NCR faction liker's, LC liker's, etc etc. Each one for each major faction would be neat.

Eh, not as bad as the ME2 cover. I like this coverart and I wouldn't care much if they changed it.

It's just soo generic... How come these kind of games always havta have some dude standing there looking all badass? How about something like one of those great high res concept paintings that are often released for wallpapers? I don't mind it, in fact I think it's fitting considering the first 3 covers in the main series. It may not be power armor, but I have a feeling that the armor on the case is going to be somewhat of an icon, something like "Man, I can't wait until I get my hands on a suit of that."

What? It may very well change.

I don't really care myself, as it's just a box art, I'm just surprised that Obsidian haven't made it more... striking, you know? I mean after all at the end of the day they're trying to sell their product, and if the cover isn't persuading people to buy then the less money they make.

I find it to be decent enough, but a 50s style ad would be amazing. Then again, I won't care as I know I'm already going to buy the game on release day.
