New Vegas svcks !

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 8:42 pm

In comparison to FO3 New Vegas just svcks and that is just sad considering that FO3 is two years older. One would have expected it ( FONV) to surpass FO3 in almost every aspect but IMO it instead failed in every aspect the guns and bullets but over all for me NV is just an epic failure. I mean tomorrow will be it's one month anniversary and yet is is so [censored] buggy and glitchy still that I keep crashing to desktop every single time after about 5 minutes. And don't say it's a hardware problem I can play FO3 with NMC textures, FWE,WMK , Project Beauty, MMM, EVE and about 150 other mods all at the same time for over 5 hours without a single crash. Yet when I play Fallout New Vegas I crash every five minutes and that's without any mother -[censored] mods.

I mean please what the [censored]-hell is going on with this thrice damned game I am tempted to just to just blow up this game and send it's charred remnants to Bethesda but the only thing that's stopping me is that they might think that i'm threatening to blow them up but otherwise my new vegas dvd is going the way of the dinosaurs .

So Bethesda getting your [censored]-[censored] together and kick obsidian to the [censored]-curb

Yeah of course it svcks, that's why we're all playing it and having tons of fun with it.
Cause it's so bad that we just love it! :D
Seriously though, yeah some people have really glitchy copies, there's no excuse for that, but some of us don't have a bug every 10 seconds so for us the game works really nice. (not bug-free but not "not playable" cause of them either.)
But have patience, a patch is coming soon IIRC.

Anyway, putting the bugs aside, what else do you feel New Vegas is inferior with when compared to FO3?

Well, this thread isn't gonna last too long.

Anyway, congrats. You're only the 10000th person to whine about the game.

Why exactly?

I play on PC... but I have seen only relatively minor bugs and have had no crashes (aside from when testing mods ~and that doesn't count).

**(Age doesn't matter though... I mean Fallout 3 is 10 years older than Fallout 1 and many could post what you have almost verbatim and just swap the names.)

If by "svcks" you mean fantastically fun with tons of options and decision choices that actually have an impact on the end game, I agree with you totally.

Sorry but, Fallout 3 svcked.

It directly ripped off of the first two games.

Rather than another topic like this, perhaps you can civilly post the problems you are having with the game in the FNV PC Issues forum, that way not only will the devs be able to see where you are experiencing problems but other members may very well be able to help you sort them.

Thanks for understanding.
