Mod: New Vegas Trade Center

New Vegas Trade Center(NVTC) is a new finance organization located in freeside.


In NVTC, you may expect to

- Purchase stock/shares of over +30 companies
- Get loans (*If you have a low credit score, you may sign a private contract)
- Open a banking account with +2% Interest rate.
- Exchange different types of currency and casino chips.
- Shop at marketplace with 6 unique merchants.
- Purchase private storage rooms that come with auto-delivery service.
- Do small-scale side quests that require science, repair, medicine and lockpick skill.

What is the goal of NVTC?

- Primary goal is to provide a small sense of finance in fallout universe.
- Secondary goal is to support players who are playing pure Barter/Mercantile characters.
- Lastly, this mod is also for those who already own more than millions of caps and ran out of way to waste 'em.


Where is NVTC located?

- Below is the Fast Travel Location.

- NVTC exterior occupies the entire block between Silver Rush and King's House.
- Thus, this mod will be imcompatible with any mod that uses above space.


How does purchase stock/share work?

- Stock/Share will be purchased directly by computers from main hall.
- Below picture is the main hall.

- Once player is successfully logged in, player can select the type of business (casino, caravans, mercenary or local service)
- Each type of business will bring up the list of available companies that sell shares.

- Price of a share goes up/down every 6 hours.
- Once every 2 weeks, profits will be returned to player's banking account.
- Profits are usually bottle caps, but depending on companies, it could be loots, casino chips and other items.


How does the marketplace work?

- Marketplace is also in the 1st floor.

- There are 6 merchants. Each comes with unique trade options.

Physician:
- Sleeping Pill(200 caps): Player can sleep anywhere and gain Well-Rested Effect.
- Energy Drink (250 caps): +20% Run speed for 3 minutes.
- Spine Reliever (100 caps): +50 Carry weight for 3 minutes.
+ 3 more unique drugs.

Scavenger:
- Player can purchase a huge bulk of MISC items, but it won't come cheap.

Joker:
- Player can purchase a "Bag of Random" that contains a random item.
- Bag of Random costs 100 caps.

Librarian:
- Player can purchase readable books.
- Some readable books provide ability bonus if you read to the last page.
- There are 11 readable Books available including

Gun Smith:
- Player can purchase firearms that are customized to use different type of ammo.

Armorer:
- Player can purchase unique faction armors.


How does the loan department work?

- Player can request loans from Loan Office in 2nd floor.
- NVTC will not loan to any stranger who just walked into the building.
- There will be a side quest for player to gain credits.

- Once player is allowed to get loans, NVTC will set up a last payment due date.
- Failure to pay back the full amount by due date will terminate the opportunity to get loans again.
- Also, repomen (aka organ-harvestors) will start to track you down.


How does the banking account work?

- Bank is located in B1 (basemant).
- When player opens up an account from the receptionist, player will automatically get a free saving account.
- Once every 3 weeks, +2% of entire deposited bottle caps will be added into the banking account.


How does the currency-exchange work?

- Currency-exchange option is also available from Bank.
- Player can exchange Legion Coins, NCR Money, and all casino chips to bottle caps and vice versa.


What kind of side quests are there?

- There will be maximum of 5 side quests. Here are requirements.

- Security Department: Lockpick Skill and Sneak Skill.

Will this mod come with voice-acting?

- I'm not planning to include voice acting unless voice-actors know how to use old TES CS to generate lips.


when will this be released?

- I can't say at this point, I still got a lot to do.
