I was just wondering if the PC version of new vegas comes with achievements to unlock. like on the xbox 360?

Yep, all of the achievements from the PS3/360 version are in the PC version as well.

I have an xbox 360 account. Which i used to play Fallout 3 on the PC too and get achievements. But where on New vegas do you login to your windows LIVE account?

Actually, the achievements are handled directly through Steam, as this game is a Steamworks title and no longer uses Games for Windows LIVE (so it is not tied to your LIVE Gamerscore in any way).

You don't. You log into Steam. FNV doesn't use Live at all.

I probably don't get half my achievements cause I tend to use the console too much to create named saves. Read somewhere that using the console turns off achievements for that session.

Yes, it appears that using the console disables achivements for that session. Not sure if you have to restart Steam for them to log again, but for sure the game needs to be restarted.

This is why I was happy to see that someone is working on a mod to allow one key access to important console commands. Hitting a scripted key to toggle collision and get unstuck doesn't seem to affect achievements the way opening the console does.
