Next Elder in Hammefell (Home of the Redguards)

Post » Sat Jun 23, 2012 12:59 pm

I think they have been all over Tameriel, the next logical location for the next in the series is Hammerfell, the home of the Red Guards. LOL Hammerfell O.K.

Makes me wonder if they'll ever delve into the land of the Akavir.

Apparently they already did hammerfell in a game. Didn't play it though. I would love to go to Hammefell though. The Redguards are one of favorite race and I they don't get the love they deserve. I wouldn't mind going to Valenwood either.

They are the best warriors, and destruction wielders. Partial Immunity to Poison. Best Balanced

I would love this. I've never played a Redguard but they've always been a fascinating race. I'd love to see their province.

Yeah if I recall Daggerfall had every area of the world open..excluding the land of the Akavir but we may never see that side of the elder scrolls universe..who knows though?

I wouldn't mind playing as one of those Snow demons..the Kamal the wiki mentions that live in the land of the Akavir.

Was is done on Nintendo 64, what year, and platform. I think it was a computer expansion for Morrowind.

I thought it was Arena? I wouldn't mind going to Akavir either. Vampire Snakes FTW.

It is all human province as the dominate race, but the other races have settlements.

It was pretty good. Right now you can get Arena and Daggerfall for free on Bethesda's website, but you will need a DOSBOX emulator.

In my opinion it will have something to do with the Aldmeri Dominion if they don't do an expansion on it.
Summerset Isles and Valenwood anyone? :twirl:
Always wanted to go there. High Elves are one of my favorite races.

They have already partially done High Rock.

EDIT: But then again they technically have done all of the provinces.

Rather go to a beast or elf territory, I felt they took the easy way out with Skyrim especially after Oblivion which was a generic medieval land they want straight into viking territory. What made Morrowind so grand for me was how alien it was to what I was use to seeing.

So yeah Elswyer, Black Marsh, Summerset Isles, or Valenwood I'd love to see. Though I suppose the others wouldn't be bad either. Hell I'd like to go back to Morrowind, especially after all the stuff that's gone down.

I just dont see them making a game where the majority of the population is argonian or khajiit. Elves sure, humans definitely, just dont see the beast races getting their own game based on their trend of wanting to appeal to a less hardcoe rpg crowd.

I don't think so as Bethesda likes marketing.

For Morrowind, they used the 'w' for the roman numeral 3, III.
For Oblvion, they used the 'iv' for the roman numeral 4, IV.
For Skyrim, they used the 'Y' for the roman numeral 5, V.

Now for the 6th, I think they will use Akavir as they could use the 'vi' for VI (6).

It is all human province as the dominate race, but the other races have settlements.

that is blatently untrue. every race has their own province and the domminate race (unfortunetly) is best considered the altmer atm (they have the most provinces under theri control, theirs [summerset isles], valenwood and elswyre [spelling])

Would it be possible to do two provinces in one game?

Maybe, as the next TES will be on the 8th generation of console.

I think they should try, and if it does work I'm sure they could find very interesting ways to take advantage of two full provinces.

We were already IN Hammerfell in Daggerfall, which also covered the province of High Rock.
