Nicest looking clothes?

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 10:16 am

I want to find a nice outfit for my altmer that hasn't done any major quests. The only real nice ones I know though are the wedding dress and emperors robes both from the dark brotherhood quests ...

Radiant Raiment sells all sorts of clothing; I recommend looking there and deciding what you like best. I personally like the look of the blue/orange style Fine Clothes.

Go to Radient Raiment. There is lots of good stuff there.
The blue and green fine clothes with the coat are good. Also the blue and orange fine clothes.
The Emporers outfit is awesome. :D
I could'nt get the wedding dress. I killed her as a werewolf after sneakily changing behind her on the balcony, then ran off. Her corpse was gone when I came back, unfortunately.

Ulfric Stormcloak has a ok outfit when you kill him.

The best looking clothes IMO are Tonilia's in Thieves Guild, probably armor tho.

I like the variant of Fine Clothes that Maven Blackbriar and Falk Firebeard wears.

I might make a mod to turn this in to a brigandine which has the scale plating on the inside of the chest piece and give it some armour rating.

Chef's outfit isn't tooo bad on female, and the moarner's clothes is ok, it's black on black which hides alot of flaws. Their's a dress in breezehome that isn't to bad, I don't like the cowl, but the dress itself is nice. green I think.

The one thing I really miss from Oblivion, nice looking clothes.

If you're on pc, use UESP to find the clothes that Idgrod Ravenscrone wears - for "not armor" those are some REALLY fine threads!

Is there any way to get Idgrod's outfit if on the 360?

And to the OP, Ulfric's outfit (after his defeat) looks pretty neat (on women, anyway).

Not unless you can export a save game to pc, console it in, save, then export back to the 360.... sorry.... It IS a very cool look. Oh.... hmm. Anyone know if you can pickpocket stuff like that?

In the East Empire warehouse is some Fine clothes you can't find easily elsewhere. I think one was what Ulfric wears, but memory's a little rusty.

Ah. Well.... I suppose that depends on your definition of "nice". I do always keep a set around....

I agree with Vault Girl, Ulfric's coat looks really good on the Dragonborn, not mention walking around Windhelm wearing it makes it all worth it.

The unique imperial helmet found during a theives guild quest, not really clothing but it is still the pride of my collection in my solitude home, it is a very nice piece of kit if u can get your hands on it!

The Chef's dress is the prettiest as far as I'm concerned. Otherwise I don't really notice what people are wearing.

Maybe if you wanted Idgrods outfit etc, You could reverse pickpocket it off her by giving her armour that is stronger than her outfit.
If she equips it you can get her outfit from her because she won't be wearing it.
That works on FO3 and FONV for outfits you can't get normally or without killing the owner.

Well as other's said the Radiant Rainment has a good selection though the proprietor is a bit of a [censored]. I personally like the Master Robes from the university but they are expensive and enchanted so they are not easy to get. If you are on PC though you can use the console to get the base, unenchanted item.

You can get an outfit from Radiant Raiment for free if you talk to Taarie (not Endarie) - she'll give you something to wear to the Blue Palace if you promote the shop to Elisif. It's a standard noble outfit but not bad.
